Day 5: “Stay the Course, Daughter”
Theme: Staying Focused When You’re Spiritually Pressed
Main Scripture:
Galatians 6:9 (NIV)
“Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
💧
Devotional Word for Women:
Day 5 is where many women want to quit—
because the fast starts pressing your heart,
not just your hunger.
You’re five days into laying yourself down.
Five days into letting God peel back your desires,
your distractions,
your dependencies.
But sis, don’t give up now.
You’ve planted something in the Spirit—and even if you can’t see it yet, heaven is watering it.
God is working even in your silence.
The pressing is producing oil.
The emptying is making room for glory.
The waiting is birthing warriors.
As women, we often fast with burdens—our families, marriages, wombs, dreams, and disappointments. But today, let the Lord remind you:
“You’re not weak. You’re willing.
You’re not forgotten. You’re being formed.
And I see every moment of your surrender.”
Stay the course.
Stay hidden.
Stay humble.
Stay filled with the Word.

Prayer:
Father, Day 5 feels like a stretch, but I trust You in the stretching.
Help me not to break under pressure but to bow in surrender.
Remind me that this fast is not about perfection but about posture.
Teach me to feast on Your Word, drink from Your Spirit, and lean into Your voice.
You are my portion, and I will stay the course.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
